Dr. Miranda was raised in Simcoe, Ontario and graduated from the University of Waterloo with his Doctorate of Optometry in 1995. Following graduation, he moved to beautiful Vancouver Island, where he continues to serve the eye care needs of the Cowichan Valley. Trevor is also an active member of the Third World Eye Care Society and has participated with other professionals to improve the vision of the less fortunate.
Dr. Miranda was named Optometrist of the Year by the British Columbia Association of Optometrists in March 2015. This prestigious honour recognized Dr. Miranda’s commitment to providing every patient with exceptional care while mentoring optometrists across Canada.
Outside the office, you will find Trevor enjoying hockey, coaching soccer, involved with the South Cowichan Rotary Club, and spending time with his wife Cheryl and their three children. Trevor looks forward to continuing to care for the eyes of the Cowichan Valley and welcomes new patients without a referral.

Dr. Voisin grew up in Waterloo, Ontario, and graduated as a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 1997. She practiced in Oshawa, Ontario for 2 years prior to joining Trevor Miranda at Cobble Hill Eyecare (formerly Mill Bay Eyecare). In June 2000, Anita also began providing Chemainus with comprehensive ocular health examinations in our then newly opened Chemainus office. Anita strives to improve the quality of life of each of her patients and enjoys educating local organizations on the importance of eye health. She is actively involved in the community with the Chemainus Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Chemainus.
Dr. Voisin is dedicated to serving the vision needs of the Cowichan Valley and welcomes new patients at either location.

Dr. Carla Clarke graduated from Simon Fraser University with a degree in Kinesiology and continued to pursue her optometry doctorate at the University of Waterloo. Following graduation, Dr. Clarke practiced on the North Island for a year and is delighted to have returned to the Cowichan Valley to add her optometric experience to the Cobble Hill and Chemainus Eyecare team.

Dr. Polack was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley and is pleased to return to the area to practice optometry. Megan completed three years of science studies at the University of Victoria, followed by four years at the University of Waterloo to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2011. In her free time, Megan enjoys horseback riding and traveling. She has participated in an eye care mission to the Philippines with the Third World Eye Care Society and hopes to join future missions.
Dr. Polack looks forward to providing comprehensive eye exams for patients of all offices.

Dr. Inglis was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. Ben attended the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science and received his Doctorate in Optometry as a member of the Dean’s Honours List in June 2016. During his optometric training, he spent four months in Dallas, Texas at the Parkland Health and Hospital Systems: Department of Ophthalmology where he observed and managed a wide array of eye diseases and conditions. Ben has accompanied Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) mission trips to Romania and Ecuador and looks forward to future opportunities to travel and practice optometry abroad. When he’s not in the office, Ben enjoys exploring the Island, cycling, fishing, cooking, bowling, trying unique eateries, and spending time with his family.
Ben is excited to be a part of the Cowichan Eyecare team and is passionate about providing a warm and professional eye care experience to the Cowichan Valley and surrounding communities.

Dr. Lamhonwah was born and raised in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Rebecca completed the Science One Honours Research program at the University of British Columbia, followed by six years at the University of Waterloo to obtain her Bachelor of Honours Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees. Following graduation, she practiced in the Okanagan for two years before moving to the Cowichan Valley. When she is not in the office, Rebecca enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
Rebecca is a member of the Canadian Optometrists in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation and is excited to bring vision therapy for vision-related learning disorders and post-concussion rehabilitation to the valley.
Dr. Ward grew up in White Rock before moving to Ontario to attend the University of Waterloo.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a specialization in animal physiology and co-op from the University of Waterloo in 2015, and went on to graduate from the doctor of optometry programme in 2019. While working towards her optometry degree Dr. Ward completed a disease management and ocular therapeutics internship at JC Montgomery Veterans hospital in Oklahoma. She also participated in a mission trip to Peru providing eye care to those in need. In her spare time Dr. Ward enjoys travelling, hiking, running, and volunteering with Scouts Canada.
Dr. Ward is excited to be back on the west coast and looks forward to providing eye care to those in the Cowichan Valley.
